Community & Hall Hire

The hall is available for our community to hire for various events and community activities. To be considerate to our neighbours, we only allow rentals during the daytime and quiet events in the evening, so are perfect for children's parties and events organised by community groups.

We're big enough to accommodate a large bouncy castle. The hall dimensions are 14m x 9m with a ceiling height of 4m. Do leave yourself some space for the rest of the party activities though! Weekend hire is available from 1 pm.

Other facilities include

  • Stage

  • Kitchen with basic equipment and oven

  • 12 Trestle (fold out) tables and adult-sized chairs

  • 10 Toddler sized school tables and chairs

  • Blackout blinds

  • 2 toilets.

Our standard hire is £45 per hour for weekends and £25 per hour for weekdays.  We require a £30 refundable deposit on top of the booking fee.  The deposit is used to secure your booking and refunded to responsible hirers who leave the hall clean and tidy after the key has been returned.

We are committed, as part of the Christian Church, to protect and care for everyone. Looking the other way is not an option. The PCC has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding. We will  follow Safer Recruitment processes for all roles which involve work with children and vulnerable adults, including Enhanced DBS checks where appropriate. More information, including how to report a concern, can be found on the safeguarding page on the Diocesan website.
